Renaissance Symposium XIV was held at the Harvard Club in New York, New York, on November 30, 2018. The event included for each speaker the opportunity to present a topic of their choice pertaining to courtroom strategy and tactics. The Symposium began on Thursday evening with cocktails followed by the Annual Winter Renaissance Dinner at Empire Steakhouse, wherein bonds were created and familiarity bred for the following day’s round-table exchange. Friday’s symposium included presentations which offered not only admirable insight from elite trial lawyers, but many laughs at courtroom dilemmas experienced during hundreds of trials accomplished among those present. Attendees and guests enjoyed spending a few days in New York City during “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
The mission of the Renaissance series is to educate Fellows and participating lawyers and/or firms in the art of advocacy, to create a source for the perpetuation of superior trial presentation, and to facilitate the LCA by providing a speakers bureau dedicated to the highest level of trial instruction for the continuation and enhancement of skills of Fellows in the society.
